Been primarily a bit of a lurker but just wrote the test and got a 170Q, 162V unofficial score!
I was aiming for 335+, but not getting enough sleep last night definitely hindered my ability to focus on the long passages in the second verbal section. A bit of a letdown considered I'd almost always gotten 165+ in Verbal in the mocks, but I can live this score. Do whatever you can to ensure a comfortable night's sleep, folks. I spent 2 hours tossing and turning in the heat only to realise I have an air conditioner I could switch on; slept like a baby right after but it was already 1 AM :')
I arrived at the test center at 9 AM, with the test scheduled for 10; the people in charge let me and a few others start early, though. All they wanted was the ID (passport).
I'd done exactly 1 day of prep for AWA (yesterday xD), so I'm sure I didn't do a particularly phenomenal job on that; I got the Quant section first, which I only realise in hindsight is not the order I'm used to getting sections in :O
Big thanks to u/Vince_Kotchian for the last minute tip on time management; I feel like that really nailed the 170Q for me. Unfortunately, I didn't use that in the Verbal section, and perhaps the score reflects that; although to be fair to me, my brain wasn't (and still ain't, tbh) braining. Rest assured I'm heading straight to bed for a nice long nap now lmao. Major props to u/gregmat and Vince for Prepswift+ as well! Shoutout to u/Scott_TargetTestPrep as well, whose answers on random questions in the subreddit, and TTP's math sheet, helped too!
Of course at this point I'm unsure whether the GRE even matters for the program I want, but hey, who knows.
Anyway, good luck with the test everyone! Let me know if y'all have any questions!
