Was season 2 of the new Frasier series an improvement over the first season?

I watched the first season when it came out and it was mildly entertaining for the 20 minutes of each episode. I liked Frasier, though the other characters and the stories were hit and miss. It had potential I guess but generally after I watched an episode I would forget about it. The best episode was when Lilith came back since Kelsey Grammar and Bebe Newerth still have amazing chemistry.

My Paramount+ subscription lapsed and I didn't bother to re-sub when season 2 came out.

So is season 2 an improvement over the first season and worth watching if I was lukewarm on the first season?
