Thoughts on Octopath Traveler?

I am currently playing through final fantasy pixel remaster and loving it. I never played them as my first final fantasy was 8. I am wondering everyone's opinion on octopath traveler, it is on sale on PSN and I haven't every played it. How does it compare?
