I liked BBW body sprays as a kid, but I could never find what I liked. Except 1000 wishes, I can't let go of the scent for some reason. The first two unpictured body sprays are not worn at all since they're hand me downs and not made anymore. I've actually posted about WBT before years ago. Endless Sea and this new, travel sized 1000 wishes are gifts from my future mother in law. She picked some good scents!
I had several other BBW body sprays but haven't used in YEARS and just cant picture wearing them again, so they have been donated on my local Buy-Nothing group. The recipients were incredibly grateful to gift them to their daughters who are curious about perfumes. Its an incredible, low-budget way for girls to learn and find scents they like.
As a young adult, buying from retailers can be expensive. As a result, most of these are from thrift stores, Homegoods, or Facebook marketplace. Save for the Skylar, Kilian, and Nest fragrances which are from the Skylar website and Sephora, respectfully.
I adored Fall Cashmere and used every single drop, but dumped ⅓ of Urban Rose. It just smelled powdery, woody, stuffy and stale. Those were washed and repurposed for the Gucci duo because rollerballs are cooler than mini dabber bottles. It's hard to empty Vanilla Sky because it's my only vanilla-forward scent. Princess was above my normal budget. It smells so good for a date night scent, but it was pricier, so it is also hard to use up.
My first perfume bought here is Indigo, and I LOVE it for dewy, rainy spring days or humid ones here in Minnesota. I just acquired Chai eclaire, VS, and Cloud the other day from Marketplace. VS had the box, but the other two were pre-loved from someone younger who was expanding her collection too.
The Kat Von D was the most expensive, at dang near full retail price from Depop (too many other scams now). After having a mini dabber bottle, 19yo me thought I HAD to have it, otherwise someone else would buy it, but I learned the dabber smells way different than the spray. I just dont reach for it but once every other month. If the bottle is lucky, ha.
Looking now, the Guess one might be fake because of the sticker agh! Never noticed that before! That's what you get from Homegoods ig. It is still nice to wear at family gatherings because it isn't overwhelming ly sweet or anything.
I found two of these fragrances in a thrift store. The mysterious small rollerball is one I wear to bed, it smells musky and vanilla-y and isn't very strong. Based on some preliminary online research, I think it's some limited perfume from Maurice's? There are thin, criss-crossed gold ribbons printed on the bottle. Antica Farmacista is also mysterious because it was hard to find any information online. I almost think it's homemade.

I am all about using what you have, not buying many things new and my goal with this collection is to use up my smaller bottles to make the most of this collection before moving on and growing. I don't have any sort of scent theme for myself, but having a staple scent for every category and some less expensive ones for daily wear is important. It makes daily decisions easier. It's incredible and I'm thankful to have a collection of perfumes where some are new, but the most treasured scents are gifts are were bought pre-loved.
