FP&A and accounting
I work in accounting for a technology company that was recently acquired by a large company. In the process of merging the two companies, we will be taking on new positions within this company. In a recent conversation with my manager, I learned that there is an expectation of creating an FP&A area within accounting, in order to provide support for the controllership area and its analysts. I would very much like to take on this new position, and I would like to know what insights I could give my manager so that he would entrust me with the option of taking on this responsibility. Any tips?
