Working at Amazon with a disability or chronic illness?
Hi folks! If you work at Amazon and have a disability and/or chronic illness, I would love to connect with you.
I work for New Disabled South, a nonprofit organization that is focused on improving the lives of people with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses. We are working with National Disability Institute to study how "smart technology" impacts workers, especially workers with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses. Smart technology can include: robots that move without human control, software that tracks worker movements and productivity, or artificial intelligence built into technology that workers use. We want to understand the benefits and challenges of these technologies in the workplace. Note: New Disabled South and National Disability Institute are both independent non-profit organizations and not affiliated with any companies, including Amazon.
What has been your experience with smart technology while working at Amazon?
