MoErgo Glove80 USB Connection problems

I'm my Glove80 with Linux Mint wired and I've noticed that it needs to be disconnected and reconnected every once in a while when using its USB connection mode. I've been using my device for about a year now, and I have been doing this repeatedly, but lately it's been a little more frequent. I'm not sure how to debug this.

I use desktop, so I need the wired connection because I have dual booting enabled and need to use the keeb in grub or bios sometimes. I really wish this came with a 2.4 ghz dongle like Logitech does.
