Ok I am done
Yesterday I posted requesting help with my getting my bed to a correct state. Aside from the obvious problem with the bed I have had numerous issues with getting the print to a working state and then 3 or 4 prints in - half way or later into the print - the filament would end up building up around the hotend and then cool around wires. I have now had 4 complete extruder assemblies and 3 other hotends ruined trying to get this to work. This last one did not last 36 hours from the point of installation.
On this one, 5 of the wires connectors were somehow pulled off the circuit board.
After following some of the advice in the previously mentioned thread, I had done 3 test prints, including a near perfect benchy. Then I sat and baby sat the full print I had in the worms for 30 minutes. When everything seemed good I walked away to find the Neptune 4 pro in and error state.
Anyways. I give up on Elegoo. I have already gotten a Creality K1 Max because I wanted a larger unit and have had nearly zero issues with it. I think I am going to replace this N4P with a Bambu A1.
