Neptune 4 Pro leveling
I've been trying to get my bed level for a few days now. Steps I've followed:
- Followed YouTube tutorials where I select auxiliary leveling and use a piece of paper to get the nozzle as close as possible to the bed
- Auto leveled right after and then readjusted the z offset with a piece of paper in the middle of the bed and saved.
- Printed a test print (pictured below)
- Cleaned print bed with isopropyl alcohol
- Replaced elegoo bed with another PEI bed
- Upgraded printer and screen firmware to latest on elegoo's site.
- Using default elegoo cura settings
- Tried slowing down speeds to 100mm/s
- Unscrewed the print bed completely and then tightened bed by half turns until it is level (I have never tightened the print bed the the max)
I've successfully printed some objects but when doing multiple items on the print bed I'm getting very inconsistent later lines. I have Brims on to maximize the adhesion and still have some items break loose. I STILL see separation between layer lines immediately after leveling. (Pic 2) It's almost like when I press print it completely ignores the z offset or something..
Printer settings: Speed 100mm/s Bed heat 65c Nozzle heat 210c esun PLA+ a few other pla brands.
Should I revert to the older firmware? Should I replace the nozzle? I'm running out of ideas to get consistent printing from this printer.
I've owned a ender 3 for 4 years so I'm used to manually leveling a bed but I just don't get what is going on. I understand some reviews say this printer is not good and has issues but I'm struggling to believe I just have a printer that cannot print. Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly
