Current student trying to become substation design engineer

Hello I’m currently a college student, about to graduate with an EE degree with a concentration in power. I have been offered a job doing substation design but I have no experience. My employer knows that. Are there any resources I can use now to become better prepared or have some knowledge about substation design?
