Should i refund or wait?

I sold a laptop on ebay @ the end of december (shipped jan 2nd). It’s been moving really slowly and now stuck in USPS limbo for almost a weeks now with the message “In transit to next facility, arriving late”. The buyer opened up a refund request but i’m not sure what to do since if i refund and the item ends up shipping im at a loss.
