Athreos/Shadowborn deck struggling to keep momentum
Hi all,
I really like the gods of Theros from a thematic standpoint and aristocrat builds from a strategic one, so building around [[Athreos, God of Passage]] is a labour of love for me. It *can* pop off but I find it pretty consistently durdles along at fewer [[Shadowborn Apostle]] than I need.
I feel like the solution is low-curve card draw since I throw down a lot of low-cmc cards in this deck but don't really know what's best. [[Norn's Wellspring]] for draw will be added soon, as will [[Profane Tutor]] for cheap access to my "get more Apostles" package, which is just [[Thrumming Stone]] and [[Rememberance]]. I'm trying to not get too into the $30+ cards but it'll probably happen eventually.
I didn't know Norn's existed until last week so I know there are other cards out there I haven't considered. What (primarily draw) cards would you add and what would you cut to include them? I'd rather pay life and creatures than mana or dollars haha
