What unpopular commanders do you think are secretly really strong?

What commanders that have 1000 or less decks on EDHREC do you think are secretly really strong? I love building commanders that very little people like/play, and just wanted to see want other people think about these commanders.

I personally think [[Safana, Culimport Cutthroat]] is underrated. The ability to potentially make three treasures per turn I think is really strong, especially combined with Choose a Background.
