3 elves, 1 problem(spoilers for tge manga)

I noticed something about thistle, mithrun, and marcille that I found very interesting, especially because these three were/are/become dungeon lords in the story, the thing I noticed was WHY they became a dungeon lord, what did they desire.

Thistle: wanted to keep the people of his kingdom and his brother safe, and find the traitor that poisoned the king.

Mithrun: wanted a peaceful life with his long lost love, because his line of work robbed him from doing so, and his brother taking away his chance at that(as shown in the mirror, that doesn't mean it actually happened)

Marcille: wants to find a way to unite all the lifespans of the different races so that she won't have to lose the people she loves and outlive all of them.

Do you see it? There's a common theme: loss, death of loved ones, and loneliness, these 3 elves have the same problem even if it looks different, at heart they just want to be with the people they love and not lose them.

To me this says that this is an issue that a lot of elves share, because think about it of course the long lived race would have trouble with loneliness and loss when dealing with tall-men or other races, and in mithrun's case it's less a race divide and more of a sense of duty as an elf that himself that robbed him of a chance at love.

I may be pulling this out of my ass but it's just something I noticed between the dungeon lords(excluding laios he became one so that he can defeat the winged lion... kinda)
