Why do all of my dreams always involve water?

I’ve read a lot of theories online and through family members. I don’t know why every single dream of mine contains either a body of water around me or me in it. It’s always clear water—mostly pool water. Or a lake. Or a pond. Only once was I submerged in dirty water with extremely high waves.

It won’t be the main focus of the dream, but there’s always always always an element of water around for some reason.
