I keep having re-occurring dreams that play out like…

The settings are identical. I’m stuck in Florida or some big metropolitan city trying to get back home and I’m trapped. Most of the time, I end up making it back home, but have to go through crazy obstacles in order to get there. I am with some old college friends who I keep losing track of. Me and my old college buddies make plans to go to a party. Somehow, I end up missing it or showing up late and see them congregating without me. They are surprised to see me as it’s been a while, but they carry-on with their duties. Some even ignore me. In my dreams, whenever I need to get to where I’m going, I always have to cross a big body of water in a car over a ramp. Half the time the car makes it to the other end the other time it falls in the water. The Bridge attendants act like it’s normal for someone to not make it and drown every now and then. I’m one of the only people with cold feet, and everyone else is proceeding like it’s normal.
