Season 2 questions

On my second rewatch and I have a couple questions of the happenings of season 2

How long was Matthew wheelchair bound?

Was Jane really married? Or do you think she was like Ethel? She made me feel like she was lying.

How long was Lavinia around for?

Timing is weird in this show especially the first few seasons. Really like this season and them going through the war though.
