What's your opinion Micro Transactions in the DnD Beyond app?

DND Beyond is a great app but if you're not familiar with it you have to have purchased the rules or be in a group with someone else who has purchased the rules and shares them with you for them to be available for character creation and reference. (There are a lot of basic rules that are free to use w/o purchase).

The deal is. I'd like to have the Giant Foundling background and Giant Primal Path from Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants. It's a $30 book. I don't need all the extra stuff so I'm not going to pay $30 just for the background and primal path. I would be willing to pay $2-$3 for the background and another $5 or so for the primal path.

I was wondering what the communities thoughts are on something like that. I play a lot of video games too and I generally despise the way that industry is going with all the micro transactions but, I don't know. I think it makes more sense for casual DnD players to have something like that available in the DnD Beyond app. If it already is and I've some how missed it please let me know.
