How exactly are units affected by Strand Subjugators enhancing them?

I see that Strand Subjugators can "enlighten" (according to the wiki) other Dread units. which Dread units can be enhanced? All of them, including Tormentors and other Subjugators? or only the foot soldiers like Grim, Husks, Weavers and Attendants?
