Staph? HSV?

not once had a pickle in my life. 2 days ago i started getting a pimple and try to squeeze it but it was so painful I left it alone. I first tought its herpes because I get cold sores on my lips. Anyway I went to the doctor today and they did a swap to see if it’s HSV. He gave me fucidin cream but when I implied it more stuff comes out and it makes it worse.
