Hey Mods. Can we create a victim mentality megathread where we can put all of the "the national broadcasts hate us" posts?

Who cares if the national broadcasts have a bias toward the Avs or the Knights or the Oilers? Why do you so badly need their validation?

But also, you might want to consider - unlikely as it may be - that you're a sensitive little homer with a persecution complex where anytime anyone says anything in positive terms about "your" opponent then they must be biased, and they "hate us."

Every fan base says this about national commentators. You're not that special.

And if you so desperately need that validation from the national media, you can listen to Marek and Friedman and Dimitri and almost everyone at The Athletic and Sara and Shayna and Gentille and Ray and Dregs and about a thousand other hockey analysts who've done nothing but speak in glowing terms about the Stars all season long, many of whom picked them to win the Cup.
