Would I hate it here?

Prospective transfer student. I really like the look of Cornell's enviro & sustainability major (especially a concentration in environmental humanities), but I can't tell if I would fit in at Cornell. I like a town/city with an actual sense of community (lots of free events, not just university-affiliated people, art/music scene), I'll go insane if I'm exclusively around trust fund legacy types, and I like getting to build relationships with professors. I don't want to be so blunt as "how snotty is the vibe," but like, is the stereotype more or less true?
