dentistry vs chem eng vs pre-med for pediatrics
I'm a graduating STEM student and I still don't know what to do in the future. I know I think I'm cooked but I'm really stuck. I've applied to schools with varying courses, mostly dent and chem eng. And, now I'm in a state of dilemma. I've been seeing a lot of cons of dentistry and chem eng and it's making me rethink my choices. I was so decided on taking dentistry but I've heard how extremely costly it is (I knew about it before applying to schools but I thought we'd manage, and now I'm unsure). I want to become a pediatrician as well because it's been my life long dream (along with being a dentist), however, it would take me years to do so and I feel so bad for my dad.
I'm scared, I don't know what to do in life and there's only a few months left before graduation. I don't want to upset my family and I just really want to be successful in the future. I don't want to be a failure after everything I've went through. Please help.
