my replacement clicks keyboard isn't working or connecting to my iPhone 15 Plus like the first one.

Someone please help. I have a iPhone 15 Plus, after my first attempt at clicks not working they sent me a replacement and the replacement doesn't work as well. What am I getting wrong? I reset my phone, took off the beta software. i’m trying really hard to see whether or not I broke the USB-C port but it doesn’t look broken or feel broken. What are the chances of me getting two defective products?

At this point, I’m getting the hint that this product is not for me and I wasted my money. please any suggestions could be helpful.
