People in this sub are disappointing

As a new member here, I'm questioning why I even join this sub in the first place. From what I've seen, the only time people are really active or commenting on this sub is if their favorite 2D character gets "slandered" by a different fanbase. Which causes them to insult that fanbase's favorite "waifu", making this back and forth of brain-dead people arguing.

Instead of just leaving them be or just disagreeing, they went for the "eye for an eye" route that makes them "slander" or insult the other side. Which is so incredibly childish they even got provoked like that where I even doubt people here are actual adults.

What's the worst is that me bringing this up is also going to cause more "slandering" so either way there's no winning.

I wish there were more informative and respectful discussions or theories because at this point, I don't know why I even join this sub anymore.
