Do atheist that do good deeds go to heaven?

I,an atheist and my dad always wondered if "non-believers" that do good things go to heaven. My religion teacher said "You can't do good things without being religious",but honestly,he finally said at the end "Good things aren't linked with faith" so basically,he said that atheists who do good things don't go to heaven,MrBeast ain't getting the past.Just wanted to know y'alls opinion lol,i used to be orthodox christian.
