Yin deficiency peeled tongue?

Hi all, TCM student here. I have never had a peeled tongue coat…. The purple/pale is normal for me as I often deal with blood stagnation. I always have the thicker coat in the SP/ST area too. But the peeling at the tip of my tongue is new, I just woke up with it like that this morning. Any insight?
