What exactly is China, politically?
In terms of categorical state ideologies, such as communism, capitalism, republicanism, socialism, theocracy, etc., (in as unbiased terms as possible) where exactly does China lie? I mean, we all know that China historically is heavily associated with communism; but clearly whatever the state is today is far throw from a concise/faithful instance of communism. When one googles such a question, they get any number of different answers. Curious to hear from the community on this one.
