What's with the AI quality propaganda?
I've seen a lot of posts and comments saying the users did this degradation, like "the users are bad at roleplaying so the AI adapted to it" type sh.
Granted, my AI knowledge is limited, but this is probably completely wrong. C.AI is an LLM dependent on pre-existing data. whatever the devs tell people about something like "using data to improve our models", that's them doing it.
Basically they'd need to actively select the "bad roleplaying" themselves and train the AI with that.
And even if that did happen, that's just expansion on the AI(LLMs work on parameters; 2b, 8b, 70b, 800b....) and not a cause of degradation, what is a cause of degradation is actively lowering the context sizes(the parameters) or giving people a completely different model altogether.
At least, to my knowledge. I'll delete this if proven incorrect.
