Corriente

Good afternoon folks! Interested in learning more about raising cattle, so forgive my ignorance. My wife and I recently moved out on some acreage and are interested in getting a few cows and chickens.

I recently ran across someone selling corriente cows. A quick Google search shows they're lean beef, but not much info as far as milking. Are corriente cows good for milking? Also, is it a good breed to start out with? Thanks in advanced!
