Cost of attending Saint James School of Medicine if one gets a free tuition

I am a premed in Canada and could not get in for 3 years despite having ~3.9 cgpa and 511 MCAT. I am currently considering St. James medical school and I have few questions for students that have an insight about the school.

  1. I think I would be eligible for Dr. Jay K. Pandit Memorial Scholarship which means I would get free tuition (minus fees). Which is why I'm considering going to St James to begin with because I simply can't afford it otherwise. My parents are in another country and I cannot get a co-signer for the student line of credits. Hence, I would like to ask you how much would the other costs and fees would be per year or per semester. How much is the living expenses per year?
  2. Any options to fund my studies? I think SJMS isn't OSAP approved... Would a saving of 80,000 Canadian dollar be enough for 4 years (living expense and fees) assuming I would get free tuition?
  3. I know that other Caribbean medical schools such as St. George offer a guaranteed clinical rotation in 3rd and 4th year in US hospitals. Does SJMS also guarantee a clinical rotation in the US or Canada?

Thank you
