$30 score, eBay gamble paid off
So I started out with a Mavica because a friend of mine had one and she made me want one, but that quickly spiraled into a quickly growing camera collection and over the past four months through eBay crawling and antique store digging, I ended up with 14 cameras. 11 of which are film cameras, which has been lots of fun.
But I'd been window shopping for a DSLR for a while, and found this and decided to gamble on it.
$30, condition untested, reason being that the battery door was missing. So I end up spending like $47 all together on the camera body and a battery and a replacement battery door and turns out, it works fine. Excellent cosmetic grade, as rated by a KEH outlet. Just that one missing piece.
It feels like a tank, so solid in my hands, I already had some EF lenses for my film cameras, and I'm glad to have a decent non-film option for when my stock of film runs thin :p
