Anyone else thought they failed the CFA exam but ended up passing?
I just finished taking my CFA level 1 exam, and honestly, I’m in that post-exam spiral where you second-guess everything. I felt pretty confident during the first part, but the second part felt… off. Not sure if I actually fumbled or if it’s just my nerves getting the better of me, but now I’m stuck in this weird limbo of “did I do okay, or was it worse than I think?”
For context, my average mock exam score was 76%, so I thought I was in a good place going into the exam. But now, post-exam, I can’t help but feel like that number doesn’t mean much anymore.
I’ve read stories of people who were convinced they failed but still passed, and I’m hoping that’s the case here too. If you’ve been in a similar situation, I’d love to hear how things turned out for you—and how you managed the wait for results without driving yourself crazy!
