Chances of getting STEP ticket? Just joined waitlist (6/8/23)

First time burner, just found out about and learned about STEP. I just got on the waitlist for a $575 ticket + vehicle pass. Odds I'll get a ticket? Should I just not even try and try for a $1500 ticket... is that even possible? lol

I'm also part of a camp. I heard somewhere vaguely that the camps might get their own tickets to provide for people of that camp in the event they can't find a ticket. Is that at all true? Any info is helpful! Thank you and hope to meet on the playa!
