How exactly does that work?

Hi I was just wondering how safe is this. Do I need to have a schengen visa in order to go to the other airport (as far as I know passenger can't leave the airport while waiting for transfer without a visa) if I don't need one because this is something in the ticket how easily can I do that? Can someone enlighten me please
