Why was Ajay Atul not part of Chaava?

I know AR Rahman is one of the greats but Ajay Atul's music are crazy and plus they are Maharastrians and could add that Maratha touch in it. I know I am speculating too soon but just got a thought that Ajay Atul would have been great for this movie. They've done some amazing work in Maharashtra and Pan India.
