Blackpink and the billboard hot 100

What inspired this post was an interaction i had with another k pop stan, saying Blackpink would never see a Grammy in their life and they saw groups like Newjeans (do not send hate to them) getting one before them. Although it sounds harsh, i took that as motivation to do better for Blackpink. I think in order for us to even dream of a Grammy, we have to work our way up and the next step for us would be to attempt to get them a number one on the hot 100.

An artist generally needs between 450 and 500 album sales (pure) to make the Hot 100, For streaming, a musician needs between 562,500 and 1,687,500 streams. The formula is generally the ratio of sales (35-45%), airplay (30-40%) and streaming (20-30%).

That is what i got when i googled it, but a better description of it would be here.

I wanted to ask y'all do you think it would ever be possible for Blackpink to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and do you guys think Blackpink has enough US fans to do so now? The highest they have gotten on their own is 22 with pink venom.

I also want to know, would you, as fans, be willing to put in the work to make it happen? I definitely would. OR am i being delusional?
