Question for the Ansur Boss Fight

I'm well aware of his lightning immunity, which stinks, as I did want to do a storm sorcerer, but I know I'm gonna want all the fire power I can get if I want to get the "crash landing" achievement.

Is there another element people would recommend for me to try? Ignoring Perious strikes for a moment, as I don't feel right using that on enemies. I know the main elements you can use instead are fire or ice if you go with Draconic Bloodline, but if someone has a better suggestion, please let me know!
