Chocolate cake that's not too sweet?
I've been looking online for chocolate cake recipes, I have to bake two sponges later this week. The two that people resoundingly talk about are from Hershey's and " Nana's Devil's Food " from r/old_recipes. However, these cakes contain quite a lot of sugar and I worry they'd be too sweet. I want a cake that's spongy more than fudgy and still moist, but not too sweet is the biggest consideration for me. At a push I'll use one of those two recipes (probably the Hershey's as it looks really spongy) and cut the sugar from 2 cups to just over 1.5. However, if anyone knows any recipes that fit my bill, or just any general tips, do pass them along. Thanks.
