Man, this last pod was painful to get through, if Bill weren't on the pod I may have given up. Brad talking about how tariffs built the middle class?? There was no middle class until the Labor movement came to fruition. Tariffs are a tool to protect domestic manufacturing. The Govt using them to generate revenue is just a regressive tax since lower income earners will pay a higher percent of their earnings to tariff fees. No wonder Brad praises them! And the pod is not political but Brad spends half of it doing apologetics for DOGE?

Bonus for today being the first time I ever heard someone unironically recommend I "go and read trump's speeches".

The only saving grace of this episode was that Bill finally was allowed to talk more than 5 mins. I don't agree with everything he says, but at least his points are well thought out and interesting.
