Why I'm looking forward to the changes that reviewers seem to be complaining about:

First: I get that big games now have to try to please different types of gamers. And we're all different, and enjoy different things.

If you disagree with anything I write: per to you, and I'm interested in your thoughts!

The more I'm hearing about this game from earlier reviewers, the more I worry the developers were listening in on my conversations, because so many of the changes are things I'm asking for.

Dual Protagonist: I watched my friend trying to play Origins, and constantly getting frustrated and dying in the early game. He had zero interest in the concept of stealth. He just walked straight into a enemy camp, through the front door... And got his arse handed to him. That's when I realised that the way I play is completely different from others. The idea of having a protagonist for me, and a different protagonist for him, seems perfect. At the time, we compared it to games like Battlefield - I'd pick sniper, and he'd pick machine gunner. So why not have that flexibility of selecting your character, in this?

Naoe's "weakness" in battle: In games like Valhalla, I got annoyed that when I tried to play in stealth, if I made a mistake and was "caught" - it didn't really matter. The character was so over powered I never really had to worry - I just entered combat and finished everyone off without breaking a sweat. It meant that I felt like using stealth was just me trying to create my own challenge. I wanted to be killed if I walked into a room with a dozen enemy. So I'm hopeful that with Naoe, I'll be forced to flee if I get in a fight too big to handle.

The option to turn off one-shot assassinations: This is great, as it creates an extra challenge. It makes me really think out my plan of attack, to take out all the "weaker" foes first, without alerting the higher ranked enemy. Then I can end up in hand to hand combat with just the one, remaining, enemy.

I'm sure there are more: Are there any other changes that are getting some complaints in the reviews (which, to be clear I completely understand some people won't like!), but that you think are exactly what you are hoping for?
