I just started college, but I’m not sure how to talk to anyone, what are some ways I could?

I (M18) just finished my first week of college. All of my roommates always sit in their rooms, so I can barely talk to them. I haven’t really talked to many people in my classes either. I’ve never been outgoing, so I’m kinda nervous about talking to anyone. There’s a girl in one of my classes that I think is cute, but I’ve only talked to her once. If I was going to make a move, should I do it soon or wait? She sits in front of me, and we have the class together every day.
