Mentioning job / unis offers / predicted grades in flight school applications
Hi all, I am in the UK and am interested in applying for a few integrated flight schools (this is not up for debate - as I am pretty confident in this path for flying), such as the British Airways Speedbird-Z program, TUI's MPL cadet program, and CAE's easyJet MPL program (paid and likely my main option).
As a backup for being a pilot - I am applying for many universities (Bath, Bristol, Loughborough for aerospace engineering (3rd, 2nd and 6th best in the UK), and UCL for mechanical engineering) and many apprenticeships for aerospace companies - I am predicted A*AA at A-Level for Maths, Physics and Computer Science.
I know the flight schools should be relatively hard to get into (especially the first two haha mentioned), and I was wondering if one way I could put myself ahead is to mention my grades, and any uni / job offers I have been given on the application? I feel like this is one more way to show my passion for flying and the aerospace sector and put me a tiny bit above the crowd.
however I also worry it is a big nono due to formalities i dont know of, seems cocky and holds no real substance (as i havent exactly DONE the jobs/uni courses), it also may show that I am planning to fail, and it doesnt really matter if i get the course offer or not, as I have so many good fallback options.
any thoughts? thanks to anyone that has read this and responds with any feedback!
