weird coach

there’s been this coach (m-mid 30s? i think) that has been helping for the past week. as he’s the only coach that really assisted me for the past few months, I (f22) inquired for a coaching sessions (we exchanged numbers).

since he’s been helping me and as well as my friends when they visited me to that gym, i told him ill buy him coffee in return. fast forward to today, while i was doing my workouts, he followed me again and talked to me. the few minutes he was just assisting me again but then he proceeded to ask personal questions such as “meron ka bang bf?” and i even joked “bakit sir may rereto ka ba?” after that he randomly asked questions lang then asked again “baka magalit bf mo kung bibilhan mo ko coffee” and i just said “ha?? bakit naman e coach kita”.

after that, i just didn’t mind his questions and other stuff but then when the coffee came (delivered by grab) i gave it to him and said my goodbyes since im done with my workouts. just right after i left the building, while i was driving, he proceeded to call me and i thought it was just because i left something but he said, “ingat ka ha .salamat ulit sa coffee. bakit kasi ang aga mo dumating kakarating ko lang. miss na kita.” and i just said “wala lang yun coach thank you again” then ended the call because i felt disgusted.

after hours, he keeps on texting me such as he’s having a breaktime and drinking the coffee i gave him, as well as, him updating me that he’s currently having his lunch.

i don’t know but with the actions i took, does this coach have the right to ask personal questions? and does he have the right to message me unnecessary things for the purpose of exchanging numbers as a potential client? did i somehow lead him on? i just bought him coffee since he’s been assisting me for free for the past week, i believe i was just doing it for the sake of “pakikisama” but now i don’t think i need to socialize in that branch because i won’t go back there anymore.
