Considering deleting all social media at the end of university - good or bad idea?
I finish university (in a creative field) at the end of this year, and unfortunately a lot of university groups and clubs have Facebook pages, Instagram sites, etc. Hence the title of this post.
For further context, I'm a 22F and my future career will likely involve my creative work. Usually people promote this through the likes of social media, but with how downhill things have gone with EVERY SINGLE PLATFORM recently I just want to get away from the toxicity of it. I've already deleted the apps from my phone and only check in with the apps on my computer, but even then I want to distance myself. I just worry that I may not have the means to promote my future business without it. Any suggestions?
