Choosing Between Georgia Tech (AFROTC) and USAFA for a Future in Cyber Security

Hey Reddit,

I'm stuck between two options for college and could use your insights. I've recently been accepted to Georgia Tech and plan to do AFROTC there(Haven't received the scholorshio yet) as well as the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), planning to major in Computer Science with a focus on cyber security.

My end goal is to work in the civilian sector in cyber security after fulfilling my military commitment. Given this, I'm trying to figure out which path would be better for my career: the specialized military education of USAFA or the civilian college experience at Georgia Tech with AFROTC.

Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you've gone down one of these paths or have insights into the cyber security field.

Thanks in advance!
