ADHD meds + Antidepressants + Alcohol?
Okay, so I am currently on ADHD meds, it's not working at all nowadays. I was on a different medication before and that wasn't effective as well.
Frankly, I hardly feel like it is helping and my doctor is refusing to prescribe me higher dose.
During my next meeting I plan on asking for a higher dose as well as a very high dose of antidepressants (I am not taking any).
I need all of this because sometimes I think if only there was some kind of drug out there that would temporarily give you lobotomy (or something that would just temporarily shrink your brain's mental capabilities significantly), everything would just work out. State of the world is pretty bad and ADHD meds only make it more obvious.
However, one still has to work and function, as well as put on a genuine smile during the day. Looking for some support for my decision to forcefully continue to be a happy + productive person.
I'm proposing following course of action for myself:
- Increasing ADHD meds dose to a maximum amount
- Starting a very high dose of antidepressants
- Starting to drink alcohol occasionally (perhaps something cheap like beer during the evening)
Ideally the effect should be the following:
- Near-permanent state that allows you to function without ADHD yet suppresses critical thinking, allowing for a happy and productive life
