Cambridge Primate Research Centre - will we go back there?

One thing I’ve been pondering is the possibility that one of the two new films will see a return to the lab from the fir st film. A couple of script drafts had the facility forming a significant part of the third act in the first film. I wonder if it’s a concept they’ll go back to.

I’m ignoring the comics as cannon here. My speculation stems from the scientists dialogue about an inhibitor. The Chimps “have been given an inhibitor.” In medicine an inhibitor is an agent that slows or interferes with a chemical reaction. Could this mean the chimps have been given a chemical that slows down the effects of Rage? The chimps are not vomiting blood or bleeding profusely from the eyes. And the chimps by the monitors is very placid.

It’s a plot point that could give characters reasons to want to go to the lab.
