This game only exists in the first place because we scream and cry until we get our way. As childish as that is, it has protected one of the final bastion’s of MMO’s not riddled with MTX where the players vote for all content. The outrage may seem unjustified but Jagex only listens to extreme reactions.

This is the same company pushed forward with EoC despite knowing they’d lose half their player base. They will push forward with game ruining decisions if there is not enough pushback. You ever hear of Runepass?

Note I do not think calling for a resignation is appropriate behavior either.
